the AMAZING world of: CRAFTING :)

So recently i have dove into the AMAZING world of crafting and i LOVE IT! i have finally found a niche for my creative side and i am absolutely loving it so much. Decoupage, Card making, more elaborate scrap booking, paper crafts, crocheting more often...pretty much anything handmade :) i love being crafty and never knew there was a whole world out there just for people like me. there will be many posts to follow about my latest crafty excursions and probably pictures also. happy blogging for now :)  

Ken and I went to Colonial Williamsburg on Sat July 31st. We walked in the stifling heat and ate great food. We talked and laughed and had a great time. We ate some great food. It was amazing food. Best $10 meal i've ever had. It was so big that Ken and I shared it. Plenty for the both of us :)

Halfway through our day we stopped in the Bookstore and got Starbucks in the Merchant's square. It was so cool and nice compared to the heat outside :) we got yummy Starbucks water and Passion fruit tea. It was very yummy and delicious. We ended up staying in the Bookstore for an hour.
It's crazy how time flies so fast when you're with the ones you love. Life goes by so fast. It is so important to make sure you find the time to spend with the ones in your life you hold most dear.

the future

How do you really know what God wants you to do with your life. For some people its a revelation. They just know in their hearts it is what they are called to do. Others have raw talent that is just there and the decision on how to use what they have is very simple. But what about when you feel you have no flashing lights or blinking signs telling you where to go or what path to take? What about when you feel so confused and you want to do the right thing. You really do, but feeling like you have no idea what it is that you need to do. Maybe, you are looking so hard that you cant see what is right in front of you. How do you see that thing that is right in front of you? Slow down? What are you looking for. How do you know when you've found it. How do you know its the right thing you've been searching for? What if you choose the wrong thing? How do you know? How do you know?

Change...

change is not bad... it's just different :)

what is to come...

you know how excited you get about your birthday and the presents you hope you get? there is an excitement you have even though the gifts are unknown. well sometimes a word slips or a hint is dropped about a gift and you all of sudden know exactly what it is. but your birthday is still so far away. you wish you could just have the present NOW. it doesn't have to wait till the actually day. why can't you just get the gift early? it is even harder to wait when you know what the exciting gift you are to receive. you watch as people have their birthdays before you and you are still waiting for that day and you feel like it will never arrive. there can be many things like this in life. but if you are patient and wait, the reward in the end will be very much worth the wait. you cant rush something that is coming in its own time either. even when there isn't a set date for something to happen you can't cause it to happen, it must occur on its own when it is time. enjoy the moment and soak up the sun rays and it will all happen according to God's plan. sorry this was a little choppy but the person who i was talking to understands why i wrote what i did. just my thoughts and mind blurbs. P(*smiles*)

emotions.......

so why is it that girls are criers? well maybe not everyone but I definitely am a crier. about once a month my emotions get the better side of me and i tend to be overly emotional. there is normally a certain thing that i begin crying over and then it escalates and i end up crying for like a long time and by the end i'm not even crying about whatever caused me to cry in the beginning.... anyway. that happened tonight and i want to publicly say i love you and i am sooo sorry to Ken Barker, because he had to withstand my crying and going on tonight and i am so grateful to have someone like him in my life. you are a comforter. you know that to show me your love all you have to do is wrap your arms around me and gently kiss me on the forehead. i am so blessed to have you around.

anyways......back to criers.
